Nokia 9 PureView membawa fotografi ponsel ke level selanjutnya. Memang desainnya tidak seindah Samsung Galaxy S10. Nokia masih setia dengan desain simpel dengan ditenagai Android One yang simpel juga. Tapi 5 kamera dibagian belakangnya ini cukup menarik perhatian. Bekerja sama dengan Zeiss dan Light, kamera Nokia ini siap memanjakan para penggemar fotografi.
5 lensa di Nokia 9 ini memiliki resolusi 12MP, dibarengi dengan LED flash dan Time of Flight sensor. Semua kamera ini memiliki modul yang sama, dengan 2 lensa bekerja menangkap warna cahaya RGB dan 3 lensa lainnya fokus kepada warna hitam dan putih. HMD mengatkan ponsel ini dapat menangkap ‘’full spectrum of light”, atau bisa menyerap cahaya 2.9x lebih baik dibanding ponsel kamera lainnya.
Dalam pengembangannya ini, HMD bekerjasama dengan spesialis komputasi fotografi, yaitu Light, yang membuat kamera dengan 16 sensor di kamera Light L16. Dan tidak lupa HMD tetap mempercayakan juga kepada lensa Zeiss.
Nokia 9 PureView akan menangkap gambar secara bersamaan dengan 5 lensa tersebut. Nokia akan mengambil beberapa gambar dari kamera belakang, yang berarti 60 dan 240MP data diambil dan dikumpulkan menjadi gambar 12MP. Gambar yang diambil akan menampilkan detail dan bayangan yang tajam, ditambah hasilnya akan berdasarkan 1200 lapisan dari informasi pengambilan gambar ( ponsel biasanya hanya sanggup menangkap 10 lapisan ).
RAW/DNG akan didukung di Nokia 9 ini. HMD bekerjasama dengan Adobe, untuk mengedit gambar yang ada diintegrasikan dengan Adobe Lightroom. Dan lightroom khusus Nokia 9 ini akan datang dalam update software berikutnya.
Sayangnya memang Nokia 9 ini masih berbekal Snapdragon 845, dikala flagship lainnya sudah memakai Snapdragon 855. Tapi tetap tangguh dengan RAM 6GB dan penyimpanan sampai 128GB. Dan bukan berarti Snapragon 845 sudah kadaluarsa, karena umurnya memang masih bisa dikatakan tangguh di tahun 2019 ini.
Untuk memanjakan mata, HMD membekali layarnya dengan P-OLED dengan resolusi 2K, yang sudah mendukung HDR10 dan dilindungi Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Nokia 9 PureView tetap dipercayakan kepada Android One yang memiliki update selama 3 tahun. 2 tahun update mayor, 1 tahun update security patch. Dan akan dipasarkan dikisaran harga $600 atau Rp 8,5 Juta.
